How will that make you feel?

  • If you are a conflict-avoider, it may make you feel relieved in the short term.
  • But it is likely to leave you feeling frustrated in the long run, since you are likely to not get many of your interests or needs met.
  • That may be okay, if you hold your ground at other times, or the other person gives in when the issue isn't important to him or her.
  • But if you are ALWAYS the person giving in, that is likely to lead to long-term relationship problems.
