For several months, we have been talking with folks with the Zurich-based Institute for Global Negotiation, an outgrowth of the 7-year old Global Negotiation Conference. Despite their name, which to us sounds more focused on negotiation (hence narrower) than our work, we have found we have a large number of overlapping interests and activities, particularly a deep concern about the worldwide threats to democracy and an interest in encouraging constructive, conflict-resolution related efforts to overcome those threats.

As part of their transition from a once-a-year conference to a year-round Institute, IGN initiated a monthly webinar for members, starting this fall.  We were very pleased to be asked to give the first talk. A link to it, and the discussion that followed is here:
