Razma Dostyar is an Adjunct Lecturer at Balkh University, one of the most prestigious universities in Afghanistan. She has an undergraduate degree in English Literature.

Razma is passionate about education particularly among Afghan women. She believes long-term peace hinges on this important issue in her country.

To pursue her vision to promote education, she has volunteered and professionally worked with numerous Afghan organizations including Improvement Way Organization(IWO), Afghan for Progressive Thinking(APT), and X-pert Institute. Additionally, she has volunteered for learning purposes in Pravah, a youth-led organization, in New Delhi-India. She has also served as a Consultant to review radio talk show materials at the Killid Radio and Ariana FM intended to encourage illiterate mothers to send their children to school.
