2. Intractable Conflict Threat and Opportunity
As we explained in our earlier article on The Intractable Conflict Threat, unrestrained intractable conflict prevents us from addressing our most important other problems (such as the economy, immigration, climate, health care and education, religious freedom, racism, etc.). It also underlies the increasingly prevalent dystopian trends toward authoritarianism, chaos, and large scale violence. It is preventing our governments from performing the duties and roles they are entrusted to do, and as they continue to fail to do so, our distrust in them grows, just making the problem worse.
