Jimena Holguín holds a B.A. in modern languages and an M.A. in political science from Universidad de los Andes in Bogota. She has researched political and electoral reform in Colombia for the UN Development Program and affirmative action for indigenous people in Latin America. She has taught courses in comparative politics, Latin American politics, and research methods. She has worked for an organization that promotes humane and orderly migration.
