TitleTeaching Forum - Student Perceptions of Learning Outcomes in a Cross-Cultural Communication Course

DescriptionThe research on active learning techniques and their impact on student learning is mixed. Some studies indicate that active learning techniques have a positive impact on affective and cognitive learning, while other studies find no impact or even negative impact on learning. The current study takes a quantitative and a qualitative approach to investigating how active and passive learning techniques in the intercultural communication classroom impact student affective and cognitive learning and the development of students' intercultural competence.
