Description	This article discusses the application of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR) to the provision of AIDS/HIV drugs to patients in developing (especially Sub-Saharan African) countries. Specifically, is it a violation of the ICESR right to medical care that these drugs are priced out of the reach of most victims and many nations? And if so, who is responsible - the developing nation, the developed nations, the pharmaceutical companies, or international organizations such as the UN? Finally, what is being done to provide the drugs, and what can improve the process is discussed.
