It occurs to me that in these recent years, that whenever things look
particularly awful in the world, somebody would come up to me and say,
"Well, what would you do NOW, you conflict resolver?" My usual response is, "Why didn't you
ask me 10 years ago?" with the implication that things are a mess now, but they are a mess for reasons that have developed
over a long period of time, which should have been looked at and attended to. If you had paid better attention to what some of us were
saying, they would have been better attended to.
