[Full Interview]
Question: How do you control rumors?
Answer: There's a whole process in terms of creating communication channels. Especially in the
middle of a crisis, where there's a joint effort between all the parties to say, "this is the place you
go to check out information." Or to share information. That's a whole strategy of rumor control.
Question: What is the place that people go?
Answer: It's usually a community center, where there's an official and a community person assigned
there for credibility. Information comes there, is checked out, and shared back. There's also
some intentional media information, where there's sharing of information to the media. If this is
what's being shared you need to share the other part of it.
